This is a later version with a rough-textured software surface. By using a second controller, you can enjoy a trick that prevents encounters with enemies on the map, in caves, and elsewhere. You will not encounter enemies while holding down the A and B buttons on the second controller. Operation on compatible consoles is not guaranteed.
The concluding chapter of the Dragon Quest and Erdrick series. You can gather companions at the tavern in town and freely form your party. Each companion has their own occupation. You can choose occupations and genders, and by repeatedly changing jobs, your characters grow stronger. Other entries in the series include "Dragon Quest II: The Gods of Evil" and "Dragon Quest IV: The Guided Ones."
