The Super Famicom version of the classic fantasy simulation game "Langrisser," in which you clear scenarios one after another. It consists of 10 routes beginning with the Light and Dark routes, plus three hidden scenarios! ◆Game Story◆ The holy sword Langrisser has been said since ancient times to possess infinite power. The sword was protected for many years by the Baldia royal family. However, Emperor Digos of the Dalsis Empire, driven by ambitions to conquer the continent, led a large army and seized Langrisser. Prince Ledin of the Baldia royal family, however, defeated the Dalsis army with the help of many companions. He recovered Langrisser and sealed it away once again alongside the resurrected forces of darkness. Several hundred years later... The Baldia royal family was gone, and Langrisser had become a legendary sword when the Rayguard Empire began its invasion of various parts of the continent. It is said that behind this invasion are the Dark Prince Bozel and the demonic sword Alhazard, which is said to be the counterpart of the holy sword Langrisser. Emperor Bernhardt of the Rayguard Empire sought to release its sealed power while fulfilling his ambition to unite the continent.
